Around forty dates scheduled in 2025
In 2025, the Tournée « Ça, c'est le Sud ! » welcomes Erick Baert, the man of a hundred voices, and the Chœur du Sud, Europe's largest vocal ensemble.

In February 2023, when François de Canson, vice-president of the Région Sud, came up with the idea of creating the « Ça, c'est le Sud » ! tour for a great moment of shared pleasure, he could not have imagined that it would achieve phenomenal success. With the support of mayors, he set up a free show, aimed at all audiences, allowing residents and tourists to share a festive moment and enabling the Région to reach out directly to local areas, in the towns and villages of the six departments of the Sud.
40 DATES IN 2025

“This regional summer event allows us to reaffirm our messages and explain our strategy, which is to better welcome tourists by encouraging them to visit throughout the year and across the entire region, and never to oppose economic development and environmental preservation. For summer 2025, we have a huge number of requests from the region's mayors! We should carry out around forty stops in our 6 departments. In view of the success achieved and to unite around the major project of the 2030 French Alps Winter Games, we are also working on a winter regional tour in the ski resorts of the Alpes du Sud. With the first dates starting in 2025,” enthuses François de Canson, president of the Comité Régional de Tourisme! As for the artistic lineup of the Tournée « Ça, c'est le Sud ! 2025 », next year the public will see Erick Baert and the Chœur du Sud, whose success continues to grow year after year! Erick Baert's career took on a new dimension in the Var in 2019. Today, he performs more than 250 times a year. “For the past two years, he has even been the biggest success at the Avignon festival in terms of tickets sold! We are lucky to have him on the tour because he is in high demand all over France. Because this Northerner has been adopted by the Sud! He is capable of imitating Joe Cocker and Céline Dion, Renaud or ACDC. He has written a new show that will be previewed this summer during the tour. In short, he is a UFO (Unidentified Vocal Object) of imitation! And a series of concerts all by himself with imitations of Johnny Hallyday, Édith Piaf, Florent Pagny, Gims! Finally, Erick Baert is not just 100 voices, he is also about emotion and humor! We remember Joey Starr dressed as a nanny, or Julio Iglesias as Chantal Goya. So we can trust him to set the mood. And, by popular demand, the Chœur du Sud returns this year. We know Franck Castellano's ability to make his choir sing, but also the audience! There again, a guaranteed atmosphere,” enthuses the president of the CRT with delight. The Chœur du Sud is the largest vocal ensemble in Europe with more than 6,500 amateur singers. Each night of the tour, it will be accompanied by nearly 100 choristers on stage. So, see you from July 2 to August 24, 2025, throughout the region! You won't want to miss them!
