With a clear determination, the candidate wants to contribute to the future of La Verdière by proposing a structured, transparent project focused on the residents. "La Verdière deserves the best. I am rooted here, I know the people, the needs, the urgencies. My commitment is sincere and guided by a sense of service," he explains.

4 PRINCIPLES His programme is based on four essential pillars. First of all, consultation: "I want to create neighborhood councils, set up a participatory budget, organize regular consultations. In short, decide with the residents, not instead of them."

Then, he advocates clarity because he wants to guarantee readable and accessible management, publish a citizen budget report, and facilitate access to administrative documents. "Clearly, it means saying what we do and doing what we say."

In addition, he relies on the competence of his team to govern the commune: "I want to rely on a multidisciplinary team, encourage training for elected officials, and mobilize intercommunal and departmental resources. That means seriousness without pretension," warns Jean-François Charrat. Finally, he does not neglect communication: "My idea is to establish a municipal newspaper, develop a digital presence, and organize open office hours.

PROXIMITY Jean-François Charrat and his team have already started meeting with associations, shopkeepers, artisans, and farmers. The goal is to listen, understand, and build together. Among the priorities: education, youth, safety, intergenerational links, and land-use planning.

"It is not about questioning everything, but about rethinking what can be improved," continues the candidate, who is running with an independent team, but with solid convictions: "In a rural municipality, skills and goodwill go beyond political divisions," he observed.

Approaching his 70th birthday, he is ready to devote all his time to the municipality. His experience in the gendarmerie has taught him rigour, listening, and managing complex situations. "The field never lies.

That is where legitimacy is built." As president of a blood donors' association, he sees community involvement as a source of inspiration for public action: "Before talking about solidarity, you must have practiced it."

Addressing the residents of La Verdière, he concludes: "I don't promise you the moon. I promise to be present, committed, and attentive. La Verdière is not an electoral backdrop. It is our village, and together, tomorrow, we will decide its future."
