In Bormes-les-Mimosas, the 4-star establishment Le Mirage has revealed a major renovation, promising a unique experience between luxury and nature. Nestled in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in France, the charming hotel "Le Mirage" inaugurated an ambitious renovation project, reinventing itself as a haven of serenity facing the Mediterranean.

Managed by Jules Brenier, this historic family-run establishment thus opens a new chapter in its history, brilliantly combining Provençal authenticity with the comfort of a contemporary and discreet luxury.

On the occasion of this official sequence, we noted the presence of François de Canson, vice-president of the Région Sud and president of the Comité Régional de Tourisme (CRT) while a gathering of local elected officials (François Arizzi, mayor of Bormes-les-Mimosas and Bertrand Carletti, mayor of Le Lavandou) and guests including Simon Babre, the prefect of Var, also participated in the ceremony.

A major transformation

Concretely, the transformation of the hotel materializes through 73 rooms and 2 majestic suites, distributed across several intimate villas bathed in a soft light. Designed as cocoons of elegance, some of them feature private plunge pools, inviting absolute tranquility.

In detail, each space has been designed to enhance the exceptional setting of the place: private terraces open onto breathtaking panoramic views, embracing in turn the medieval village, the immensity of the sea and the silhouette of the îles d'Or.

The architecture and interior decoration create a harmonious atmosphere, where noble materials and clean lines meet the charm of local inspirations. To perfect this wellness interlude, a 400 m² SPA offers a menu of tailor-made treatments, inviting guests on an unforgettable sensory journey.

Local gastronomy

The experience continues at the table of the main restaurant, orchestrated by Chef Anthony Denon. His cuisine, an ode to the terroir, highlights the treasures of the Région Sud: local and seasonal products, freshly caught fish and sun-drenched vegetables from the hotel's vegetable garden.

Each plate tells a story, that of a generous and flavorful Provence. At dusk, the cocktail bar becomes the preferred meeting place to contemplate the panorama and kick off idyllic evenings, glass in hand.

A human adventure

Beyond the architectural success, Le Mirage is a living place, nestled in a lush Mediterranean garden. The paths winding between olive trees, lavender and oleanders offer enchanted walks, a true sensory escape.

It is this human and passionate dimension that the young director Jules Brenier wished to emphasize, moved by the culmination of this collective adventure led with his teams. A pride highlighted during a report on the show "50′ Inside", broadcast on TF1 last June 29, which dedicated a segment to the exceptional hotel addresses of the Côte d’Azur.

"What I am proud of," he confided to the television crew, summarizing the commitment and passion that drive this exceptional place.
