Far from simple postcard entertainment, the municipality has built a strong artistic identity over the years, driven by national and international events, while remaining popular and accessible. From the pine forests of l'Argentière to the quays of Port Miramar, summer is synonymous with sharing, music, and remembrance.
The jewel of this programming remains without a doubt La Londe Jazz Festival, celebrating its 17th edition. From July 30 to August 2, 2026, the festival will take over the magical setting of the plage de l’Argentière. Facing the îles d'Or, under majestic pine trees, three stages will host nine major concerts spread over four exceptional evenings. This event has preserved its unique DNA: offering a demanding and diverse lineup in an entirely free format. In 2026, the public will notably be able to applaud the soulful jazz of The Spirit of 3 for the opening, the exclusive creation "De Broadway à la French Riviera", the fusion of Abraham Réunion, or even the boundless energy of The Buttshakers to close the event in groove. Alongside the major concerts, the famous "apéros-jazz" starting at 7:00 PM will allow festival-goers to pair the pleasures of the mind with those of the terroir, thanks to tastings offered by local winegrowers of the AOC Côtes de Provence - La Londe.
The cultural life of La Londe is not limited to its major jazz festival. Throughout the summer, the municipality deploys a local offering through the Festival des Oliviers, nestled under the bandstand of the Jardin des Oliviers. Every Tuesday evening, this verdant setting becomes the stage for intimate and varied concerts, oscillating between pop-rock, Celtic music, acoustic tributes, and operatic lyric recitals. Fans of large-scale popular shows will also look out for the famous regional tour "Ça c’est le Sud !", orchestrated by the Comité Régional de Tourisme. On Sunday, August 16, 2026, Port Miramar will transform into a massive open-air stage to welcome nearly 100 musicians and performers, including the impressive Chœur du Sud.
The highlight of the summer festivities will combine local tradition and historical commemoration on Monday, August 17, 2026, during the Fête de la Libération. This day of remembrance will mark the landscape with a solemn parade of vintage military vehicles on avenue Georges-Clemenceau, completed by the installation of a replica World War II camp at the Baie des Isles by the association Provence 44. The festivities will conclude with the traditional grand fireworks display set off from plage Miramar, followed by a major public ball. By blending artistic standards, free access, and the promotion of its natural heritage, La Londe-les-Maures asserts itself as a model of cultural dynamism on the Côte d'Azur.
